Lettere d'amore

“Non ho mai scritto vere lettere d’amore.
Quando avevo quattordici anni però consegnai ogni giorno, per mesi, un foglio bianco piegato in quattro ad una persona che amavo. Salvo poi rompere il rituale svelandone finalmente a parole il senso”.
Dei fogli di carta sono piegati e portati dall’artista nelle sue tasche per giorni. Le lettere prendono la forma del vivergli appresso, rendendo visibile la semplicità della loro scrittura muta.
"I have never written real love letters.
When I was fourteen, however, I handed over a white sheet folded in four to the people I loved every day for months. Then I broke the ritual by finally revealing its meaning in words".
Paper sheets are folded and carried by the artist in
his pockets for days. The letters take the form of
living next to him, making the simplicity of their
silent writing visible.
